Woodington, Ohio

Woodington is an unincorporated community in Darke County, in the U.S. state of Ohio.[1]

History

Woodington was laid out in 1871.[2] The community most likely was named after John Woodington, an early settler.[3]

Notable people

  • Lowell Thomas (1892-1981), American journalist, broadcaster, and writer, was born in Woodington.[4]
