Wooden Legacy

The DirecTV Wooden Legacy is an annual season-opening men's college basketball competition. Eight teams compete in three-day, 12-game bracketed tournament.[1] games are televised on the ESPN Networks (ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN3). The first two rounds are played at Titan Gym on the campus of Cal State Fullerton.[2] beginning with the 2017 tournament all games are played at Titan Gym [3]

From 2007 to 2013, the Anaheim Classic (also known as the 76 Classic and DirecTV Classic under corporate naming rights deals) was held in Anaheim over Thanksgiving weekend.

The event is named for basketball coach John Wooden, whose UCLA Bruin's won ten national championship in 12 years.
