Wolfgang Heine (1861 in Posen–1944) was a German jurist and politician. He joined the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD) in 1887 and became a prominent figure on the right-wing of the party. With the split in the party in 1917 he sided with the Majority Social Democratic Party of Germany (MSPD)
At the beginning of the Nazi regime, Heine fled to Switzerland and died there, in Ascona.[1]
