Wojciech Drzyzga (born 7 October 1958) is a former Polish volleyball player, a member of Poland men's national volleyball team in 1978–1985, a participant of the 1980 Olympic Games, a silver medalist of the European Championship (1979, 1981, 1983), Polish Champion (1983, 1984, 1986), head coach, sports commentator.

Personal life

He is married to Janina. They have two sons, older son Tomasz (born 1985) who was a volleyball player. A younger son Fabian (born 1990) also is volleyball player - he is a setter in Poland men's national volleyball team, 2014 World Champion and medalist of Polish and international championships.[1]

Sports commentator

Since 2003 Wojciech Drzyzga has been sports commentator of volleyball at TV4 and Polsat Sport, often in tandem with Tomasz Swędrowski. He comments the most important volleyball events broadcast in Poland.

He did not comment matches of PlusLiga, where one of the club is his son Fabian's team (Asseco Resovia Rzeszów).[2] But he still comments matches of Poland men's national volleyball team, where his son plays.
