Witnica [vitˈnit͡sa] (German: Vietz in Ostbrandenburg)[1] is a town in western Poland, situated in the Lubusz Voivodeship, with 6,858 inhabitants (2004).

Prior to 1945 it was part of the Prussian Province of Brandenburg in Germany.
