The Winning Colors Stakes is a Grade III American Thoroughbred horse race for fillies and mares, three years old and older over a distance 6 furlongs on the dirt scheduled annually in late May at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky.
History
The event was inaugurated in 2004 as the Winning Colors Handicap[1] in honour of the Kentucky Derby winning filly Winning Colors.
The race has been usually held on the Memorial Day weekend.[1]
