William Mims (January 15, 1927 – April 9, 1991) was an American actor. He appeared in the films I Killed Wild Bill Hickok, Walk Tall, Sanctuary, Battle at Bloody Beach, Wild in the Country, The Children's Hour, Lonely Are the Brave, The Day Mars Invaded Earth, The Ugly American, Kisses for My President, Gunfight in Abilene, A Covenant with Death, The Bamboo Saucer, The Ballad of Cable Hogue, The Traveling Executioner and Flap, among others. He appeared in the television series' The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp, Lawman, Tales of Wells Fargo, Cheyenne, Have Gun – Will Travel, Wagon Train, The Long, Hot Summer, Hogan's Heroes, The Big Valley, Daniel Boone, The Beverly Hillbillies, The Virginian, Petticoat Junction, Bracken's World, Alias Smith and Jones, Bonanza, Adams of Eagle Lake, The Rookies, Switch, Quincy, M.E., The Misadventures of Sheriff Lobo, Charlie's Angels, The Dukes of Hazzard, McClain's Law, Matt Houston, CHiPs, Simon & Simon and Falcon Crest, among others.[1]

He died of cardiac arrest on April 9, 1991, in Studio City, Los Angeles, California at age 64.[2]
