Wild Goose Island (4,496 feet (1,370 m)) is located within Saint Mary Lake in Glacier National Park in the U.S. state of Montana.[2] Rising a mere 14 ft (4.3 m) above the lake, the island is dwarfed by the lake and surrounding mountains, yet is of one of the most frequently photographed locations along the Going-to-the-Sun Road.[3]
