Where Hands Touch is a British romance drama war film directed and written by Amma Asante. The film stars Amandla Stenberg, George MacKay, Abbie Cornish, Christopher Eccleston, and Tom Sweet.
It premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on 9 September 2018. It was released to cinemas in the United States on 14 September 2018, by Vertical Entertainment.
Synopsis
A rites of passage story of a bi-racial teen struggling for survival in Nazi Germany.

Production
Principal photography on the film began in November 2016 and wrapped up in December 2016 after shooting took place in Belgium and the Isle of Man.[3][2] On 20 May 2017 Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions acquired the distribution rights for several countries excluding some European ones and Australia.[4] Vertical Entertainment distributes the film in the U.S.[5]
Release
In May 2017, Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions acquired international distribution rights to the film, excluding select territories in Europe and Australia.[6] It had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on 9 September 2018.[7] Prior to, Vertical Entertainment had acquired U.S. distribution rights. They released the film on 14 September 2018.[8]
