Weathers is an American rock band from Los Angeles.

History

Formation

Lead vocalist Cameron Boyer and guitarist Cameron Olsen first met in 2012 at a local Battle of the Bands in Manhattan Beach. They eventually recruited bassist Brennen Bates and drummer Cole Carson. Both Boyer's and Carson's fathers played in a band in an Illinois town, and Boyer's father suggested that he should meet Carson after seeing Carson on YouTube. The band was eventually formed in Los Angeles in October 2015.[2]

Debut singles (2015)

Weathers have so far released two singles, "I Don't Wanna Know" and "Happy Pills". The latter was the most added song on alternative radio on its impact date, and also received the most adds for a new artist in the 2010s. "Happy Pills" eventually peaked at No. 21 on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart. Weathers have also toured with Saint Motel, Nothing but Thieves, and Dreamers.[3]
