Wayland is an American rock band consisting of guitarist Phillip Vilenski, bassist Dallas Hall, singer/rhythm guitarist Mitch Arnold, and Nigel Dupree on drums. The band were named after the city of Wayland where Vilenski grew up.[2] They released their debut self-titled album in 2010.[3]
History
Wayland's debut album was released on October 29, 2010, on Ironworks Records.[4][5] The band left Los Angeles after their album was released to live and tour in the Midwest.
In 2012, Wayland released Welcome to My Head as part of a 4-song EP.[6] A single from this EP, "Get a Little", peaked at number six on the iTunes rock chart in 2014.[2][7]
In September 2017, Rinse and Repeat was released via Mighty Loud/InGrooves.[8] The first single from this album, "Through the Fire" debuted in the Top 40 on the Billboard charts.[9]
