Water from an Ancient Well is a jazz album by South African pianist Abdullah Ibrahim that was first released in 1986. It is notable for "Mannenberg Revisited", which includes a horn arrangement of Basil Coetzee's solo on this song from 1974.
The album was also included in the book 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die.[2]
