Mesbah Uddin Ahmed (known by his stage name Wasim) is a retired Bangladeshi film actor.[1]
Early life
Wasim started his career in the film industry as an assistant director of the film Chhando Hariye Gelo (1972), directed by S.M. Shafi.[1] He first acted in the lead role in the film Rater Por Din (1973).[1] The co-actress of the film, Bobita, referred him as a "bodybuilder".[2]

Personal life
Wasim had a daughter, Bushra Ahmed (d. 2006).[6] His wife died in 2003.[7]
