Ward Park

Ward Park is situated in Bangor, County Down, Northern Ireland. The 37 acre park contains 10 tennis courts, a duck pond and a selection of wildfowl housed in breeding pens.
On 1 September 2007, the Northern Irish band Snow Patrol performed a special gig at Ward Park to a crowd of 30,000 people, supported by Ash, We Are Scientists and various other smaller bands.[1]
In mid-2010 Snow Patrol returned to Ward Park, Bangor with an estimated crowd of 40,000 people.
On 23 and 24 August 2011, Ward Park hosted the Tennents Vital festival, featuring acts such as Eminem, Ellie Goulding, The Script, Jimmy Eat World, D12 and The Killers. The festival was hosted again in Ward Park in 2013.[2]
