Walter J. Gorney (April 12, 1912 – March 5, 2004) was an American actor. He was best known as "Crazy Ralph" in the 1980 slasher film Friday the 13th. He reprised the role in Friday the 13th Part 2 (1981)[1] and returned as the narrator in Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood (1987).
His other film credits include Heavy Traffic (1981), King Kong (1976), Day of the Animals.[1]
Walter's character Ralph was parodied by Robert Donner in the 1983 movie Hysterical (film).[2]
On March 5, 2004, Gorney died in New York City, aged 91.[1]
