WXCT (1370 AM, "Alt 98-7") is a radio station serving the Chattanooga, Tennessee area. The station is currently owned by Bahakel Communications along with WDEF-FM, WDOD-FM, and WUUQ.

WXCT has long been the sister station to WDEF-FM and was the sister station to WDEF-TV, before being spun off from the CBS affiliate in the 1990s. It signed on as WDEF on December 31, 1940 at 1400 on the AM dial, and was moved to 1370 in the late 1940s.

On October 30, 2016, WDEF changed their call letters to WXCT.[1]

On November 14, 2016 at 8 a.m. WXCT dropped its simulcast with WUUQ and changed their format to adult album alternative, branded as "Alt 93.9" (simulcast on FM translator W230CN 93.9 FM Chattanooga).[2]

On September 1, 2017, WXCT changed its FM translator frequency from 93.9 MHz (W230CN) to 98.7 MHz (W254DB) and rebranded as "ALT 98-7."
