WCOY is a 100,000 watt country radio station based out of Quincy, Illinois. In 1998, the STARadio Corporation group purchased five stations in the Quincy, IL and Hannibal, MO area. In 1999, programming consultant, Keith Bansemer changed the station to a country hit music format known by the moniker "Coyote Country". WCOY also carries NASCAR NEXTEL Cup races during the season.
