WBSR (1450 AM) is a United States radio station licensed to Pensacola, Florida, United States. The station serves the Pensacola area. WBSR is the second oldest radio station in Pensacola. WBSR had been broadcasting sports talk from 2011 to 2017. The station has been owned by Easy Media, Inc. for over 30 years. WBSR was one of the first AM radio stations on the Florida Gulf Coast to add an FM translator. WBSR can be heard 24 hours a day at 1450 AM and 101.1 FM. It has been at the same location since 1946.[1]
On May 31, 2017 WBSR dropped its sports format and began stunting towards a new format.[2]
On June 20, 2017 WBSR ended stunting and switched to a simulcast of contemporary Christian-formatted WOWB 90.9 FM Brewton, Alabama, branded as "WOW 101.1".[3]
