W. Godfrey Allen

W. Godfrey Allen (1891-1986), full name Walter Godfrey Allen, was an architect in the 20th century.[1] He was the surveyor to St. Paul's Cathedral from 1931-1956,[2] and he devised the St. Paul's Heights in the 1930s as well.[3] He lived and worked in Priory Row, Faversham, and is commemorated there by a plaque on his old home.[2] He declined a British honor of Commander (CBE) in 1957.[4]
