Vojtěch Bartoněk

A Street Scene in Prague.

Vojtěch Bartoněk (March 28, 1859 - August 25, 1908 in Prague) was a Czech painter and restorer.

He studied at the Prague Academy under Professor Jan Swerts, then in Paris. He painted historical pictures, later genre pictures from the streets, courtyards and markets. He collaborated with Karel Vítězslav Mašek and Václav Jansa over the painting Pobití Sasíků pod Hrubou Skálou in 1895.[1]
