Voiteg (German: Woiteg; Hungarian: Vejte) is a commune in Timiș County, Romania. It is composed of two villages, Folea (Folia; Fólya) and Voiteg.
Agricultural school
An agricultural school began functioning at Voiteg in 1927; it was the result of a collaboration between local Banat Swabian farmers, the Agriculture and Foreign Ministries and the University of Hohenheim. In 2000, the institution was acquired by the Banat University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine, and in 2007 was revamped as a professional development center.[2]
