Vittalrao Deulgaonkar

Vittalrao Deulgaonkar was a freedom fighter and the founder of Nutan Vidyalaya Education Society.Deulgaonkar and other youngsters from Gulbarga had to pursue their studies in Pune and other parts of Maharashtra due to absence of educational institutions in Gulbarga. Deulgaonkar then decided that Gulbarga should have an institute of higher learning and founded Nutan Vidyalaya Education Society in 1907. Deulgaonkar was also a leading lawyer in the town of Gulbarga[1][2]
