Vishnu Institute of Technology (VIT), established in 2008, is a technical college in Vishnupur, Bhimavaram, West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh, India. VIT is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTUK) and has All India Council for Technical Education approval. It is one of the many educational Institutes of the Sri Vishnu Educational Society. The chairman of Sri Vishnu Educational Society is Sri K. V. Vishnu Raju.

Padmabhushan Dr. BV Raju is the founder chairman of the Dr. BV Raju Foundation. He has set up a series of educational institutions under the banner of Sri Vishnu Educational Society. Two campuses have been established, one at Narasapur in Medak District in 1997, where an Engineering college has been set up under the name of Dr. BV Raju Institute of Technology, and the other campus at Bhimavaram town, which includes Smt. B Seetha Polytechnic College, Shri Vishnu College of Pharmacy, Padmabhushan Dr. B.V Raju Institute of Computer Education, Sri Vishnu Engineering College for Women, Vishnu Dental College, and Vishnu Public School. Vishnu Institute of Technology is the latest addition to the Sri Vishnu Educational Society, established in 2008 at the Bhimavaram Campus.
