Viridifusus is a genus of sea snails, marine gastropod mollusks in the family Fasciolariidae, the spindle snails, the tulip snails and their allies.[1]

They are founded in the Atlantic Ocean off West Africa and the Cape Verdes. The first part of the genus name mainly is named after from the latin "viridis" green, which is either Cape Verde or the westernmost point in Africa, Cap-Vert in Senegal, where they are founded.
