Vincent Favale

Vincent Favale is a co-founder of Comedy Central, where he was also a co-creator of the television series State of the Union Undressed. At other networks he was also the creator of The 800 Club and producer of The Real Deal.[1]

Favale was a producer for David Letterman during his run on CBS late night shows,[2] and the writer of the off-Broadway stage play Hereafter.[3] He eventually became the vice-president of East Coast late-night programming at CBS.[4]

He was the overseeing supervisor for shows including The Late Show With Stephen Colbert after his role supervising Late Show with David Letterman since 1996. Between 1998 and 2001 he also oversaw the radio program the Howard Stern Radio Show. In April 2017 he was named SVP Talent Development at CBS Television Studios with responsibilities including "identify[ing] comedic talent and develop[ing] programming for the studio."[1] Later that year he was accused of abusing women and using derogatory language towards those of alternate sexual orientations in the workplace, and was relieved of his position,[5] and used those same words regardless of orientation, such as towards his boss Stephen Colbert himself.[6]
