Vincent Robert "Vince" DiFiore Jr. has been a member of the band Cake since 1991, and plays trumpet,[1]keyboard and sings harmony vocals.
DiFiore began playing trumpet at age 9. His first solo was "The Star-Spangled Banner" which he volunteered to perform for his fellow trumpet students in fourth grade. That year he performed "Fiddler on the Roof" unaccompanied for the school's talent show. The following year he played "Chicago" for the show. He went on to middle school where he was recognized at commencement for his contribution to the school band.
