Victoria Hall is a company providing Student Accommodation in the UK. It is part of the O'Flynn Group, a privately owned property and construction company.[1] Using a model developed in Cork over 15 years ago, Victoria Hall was formed in 1996 to develop the student accommodation branch of the company and export this part of the business from Ireland, into the UK. Since then Victoria Hall has grown to have a presence in 11 major cities in the UK and on mainland Europe.

Operations

Victoria Hall is home to almost 7000 students in 11 cities in the UK, Ireland (Cork), and in mainland Europe in Germany (Bremen) and Spain, the Colegio Mayor Galileo Galilei www.galileogalilei.com (Valencia).[2] Properties are managed autonomously with a central company office in London.

Victoria Hall develops, owns and operates all of its large property schemes, which function independently and in partnership with universities. Partnership agreements have been formed with The University of Birmingham,[3] University of Wales Institute, Cardiff,[4] Glasgow University,[5] De Montfort University,[6] Liverpool John Moores University,[7] The University of Manchester,[8] Newcastle University,[9] Northumbria University,[10] and Sheffield Hallam University.[11]

Victoria Hall in Wembley, London has been built with an investment in a new, renewable energy source called Biomass which is expected to reduce the carbon footprint of the building significantly.[12]

Victoria Hall, University of Wolverhampton - Europe's tallest modular building

Victoria Hall in Wolverhampton consists of four tower blocks, the tallest of which is 25 stories and is the tallest modular building, principally constructed offsite, in Europe.[13]
