Vice Chief of the Army Staff (India)

The Vice Chief of the Army Staff (VCOAS) is second in command of the Indian Army next to Chief of the Army Staff. The office is held by a Three Star Officer in the rank of Lieutenant general. The current VCOAS is Lt Gen Devraj Anbu who succeeded Lt Gen Sarath Chand.[1]
