Venus Bluegenes

Venus Bluegenes is a character appearing in the British comic book magazine 2000 AD.

Fictional biography

She is a Genetic Infantrywoman who has fought alongside both Rogue and Friday on Nu-Earth. In Millicom Memories[1] on Millicom she was Helm's girlfriend, but harboured a crush on Rogue at the same time. Venus was one of the Dolls responsible for the GI drop capsules, and she secretly put extra padding and ballistic shielding inside Rogue's capsule, allowing him to survive the initial drop in the Quartz Zone Massacre.

Rogue encountered Venus during his mission on Nu-Earth, but she was presumed killed when the island she was hiding on was destroyed. He again met her - in spirit form at least, where she confirmed her death[2] - during his role as a galactic assassin, where she took the position of adviser, and mission specialist.
