"Vente Pa' Ca" (English: "Come Here") is a song by Puerto Rican singer Ricky Martin. It features Colombian singer Maluma.[1] The song was released on September 23, 2016.

"Vente Pa' Ca" became one of the biggest Spanish-language hits of 2016. It topped the charts in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, Venezuela and Spain.

Music video

On September 22, 2016, Martin uploaded the music video for "Vente Pa' Ca" on his YouTube and Vevo accounts.[2] It was directed by Jessy Terrero. The video directed by Jessy Terrero and filmed in Miami, Florida, has been viewed more than 1.4 billion times.

Commercial performance

"Vente Pa' Ca" entered the Billboard Latin Digital Songs at number one, powered by first-week digital download sales of 5,000 copies.[3] The song debuted at number one on the Latin Airplay, earning Martin his 16th crowning hit, and Maluma's third.[3] The track arrived with 14 million audience impressions in the week ending October 2, 2016, according to Nielsen Music.[3]

English version

On December 26, 2016, an English version was released featuring Australian singer Delta Goodrem. She tweeted: "My dear friend Ricky Martin and I, got together to record a special version of "Vente Pa' Ca"".[4] Martin and Goodrem became friends while filming The Voice Australia where they were both judges. The new English version was released for the Australian market.[5]

Another version was released on December 27, 2016, featuring K-pop singer Wendy of South Korean girl group Red Velvet, and a Chinese version was released featuring Taiwanese C-pop singer A-Lin on February 14, 2017. An Indian version featuring Akasa Singh was also released on February 17, 2017.
