Vazhithala is a small town in Idukki district, Kerala, India.
Geography
The town is situated between Thodupuzha and Koothattukulam. Thrikkekkunnu Mahadeva and SN puram Sree Subhryamanya Temple is Located at Vazhithala. There is a St. Antoneys church in Vazhithala and also St. Joseph Forane Church situated in Marika near vazhithala . St. Sebastins Senior Secondary School, St Antony's LP School and the Shanthigiri Institute run by the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate or CMI are some of the institutions providing education and training to the children and youth around the town. Beside these there is also a CBSE school named Bappuji public school at vazhithala. Hospitals include Mary Matha Hospital and Mercy Hospital.
