Vatica pauciflora is a species of plant in the Dipterocarpaceae family.
Distribution
Vatica pauciflora is a tree found in Sumatra, Peninsular Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand. It is common in freshwater swamps and on riparian river banks. It is an endangered species threatened by habitat loss.
Taxonomy
The specific epithet pauciflora, refers to the Latin term for 'few flowered'.[1][2]
