Vasily Aleksandrovich Zaitsev (Russian: Зайцев, Василий Александрович) (1910-1961) was an aviation commander of the Soviet Army and ace during the Great Patriotic War, twice Hero of the Soviet Union and recipient of several other awards.[1]
