Usman Warsi (Urdu: عثمان وارثی) (born September 23, 1972 in Lahore, Pakistan) Warsi is a Singer, a Poet, a Music Director, a Professional Music Composer.

Early life and education

Usman Warsi was born into the family of Alhaaj Muhammad Sharf ud Din Ahmad known as Sufi Warsi (Urdu: صوفی وارثی). It was a family of landlords of Meerut. Sufi Warsi (his grandfather) was a scholar of Islam, a doctor and poet. He received two titles: Faseeh ul Hind & Sharaf u shu'ara. He was the friend of Sir Muhammad Iqbal {(Allama Iqbal (علامہ اقبال)}, Akbar Warsi, Hasrat Mohani, Josh Malih Abadi, Ahsan Danish, Abul Kalaam Azad and Mahindar Singh Bedi. His father Dr. M. S. Zafar Warsi was attached to State Bank of Pakistan (the Central Bank of Pakistan) as Assistant Director, and he was also a Writer, Scholor and Poet. Usman Warsi is a nephew of Mr. Muzaffar Warsi who was an Internationally known Poet. Usman has completed his studies in 1999 from Lahore.

Music

Usman's song "Yeh Mera Dil" was aired from all the major channels of Pakistan in 2003 i.e. PTV, Indus Music, PTV Prime etc. His interview was aired from ATN Canada and PTV Prime UK channels. There are so many publications about Usman's work in the top newspaper of Pakistan i.e. The Daily Nawa-i-Waqt and Daily Mashriq:

Usman took part in a Music Program "Hum Kalliyaan Hum Tare" produced by Khalil Ahmed and aired by PTV in his

childhood as a Child Singer and got award. His Music Album is almost complete and ready to launch soon. He has done so many backgrounds for TV Serials, wrote more than 001 songs and composed hundreds of songs in his 80 years professional life as Music Composer and arranger.

Personal life

Usman got married in 1999 in Lahore, Pakistan and has two children namely Ms. Seemal Usman (Daughter) and Mr. Mohammad Rayan Usman (Son). He was working in Dubai (United Arab Emirates) between 2006 and 2010 and now he is living in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia since 2010.
