Uromacer catesbyi is a species of snake in the family Colubridae.

Etymology

The specific name, catesbyi, is in honor of English naturalist Mark Catesby.[2]

Geographic range

U. catesbyi is endemic to Haiti and the Dominican Republic.[1]

Including the nominotypical subspecies, eight subspecies are recognized as being valid.[1]
