Upper Sanatorium Falls is a 9 metre high complex ribbon cascade waterfall found near the Chedoke Civic Golf Course in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Also known as Sanatorium Falls.[1][2]

Nearby attractions include the Bruce Trail, Dundas Valley Conservation Area, Chedoke Civic Golf Course, Tiffany Falls, Tiffany Falls Conservation Area, Iroquoia Heights Conservation Area, Chedoke Radial Trail, Copps Coliseum, Canadian Football Hall of Fame Museum.[3]

Directions

From Highway 403 take the Aberdeen Avenue exit and then turn right onto Queen Street South. Follow Queen Street South up the Escarpment where it will turn into Beckett Drive and then Garth Street. Turn right onto Denlow Drive. Follow this road until it becomes Scenic Drive. Turn right onto Sanatorium Road and follow to the Escarpment brow. The waterfall is located at the mouth of the gorge. Walking can be hazardous in the slippery environ surrounding the gorge, groundskeepers often recommend the use of well gripping shoes and various walking sticks for safety purposes.
