The University College of Engineering and Technology (UCET) is one of the constituent colleges of The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB).

The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering and Computer Systems Engineering. More than 1000 students graduates each year from this college.

History

UCET started its undergraduate program in electronic engineering in 1999 and the first batch passed out in 2003. Later in 2005, college started its degree program in computer systems engineering and in 2007 two more degree programs started in electrical engineering and telecommunications engineering fields.

Programs are accredited by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).

  • MSc Electrical Power Engineering
  • MSc Advanced Electronics and Control Engineering
  • MSc Computer Systems Engineering

Library

The college's infrastructure includes state of the art air-conditioned laboratories, spacious class rooms, well stocked library with more than 30,000 Engineering Books and modern computing labs equipped with more than 400 computers.
