Uladzimir Makowski (Belarusian: Уладзімір Макоўскі; Russian: Владимир Михайлович Маковский; born 23 April 1977) is a retired Belarusian professional footballer and currently a coach.

Career

Match Fixing

In August 2016, whilst assistant manager at Isloch Minsk Raion, Makowski was alleged to be involved in match fixing during their match with Dinamo Brest on 30 April 2016, along with Alyaksandr Lebedzew, Alyaksandr Tsishkevich, Aleksandr Budakov, Aleksandr Alumona and Andrey Paryvayew.[1] On 20 February 2018, the BFF banned him from football for life for his involvement in the match-fixing.[2]

Personal life

He is the twin brother of Mihail Makowski.
