Shashika Udari Perera (born 23 April 1984) is a Sri Lankan actress and model.[1] She is known for her role in Ran Ran Ran Sela Anda and her appearance in Iraj and Sangeeth's music video in 2007. She debuted in Sinindu Piyapath, an ITN teledrama. Her film debut was in Pravegaya, which was released in 2015.[2] In 2016, she participated in the "Mrs Universe 2016" pageant and won the title 'Mrs Universe 2016'.[3]

Personal life

Udari has a younger sister, Shehani and attended Shantha Ana Girls School, Wattala. Currently she lives in Nawala.

Mrs Universe 2016

Udari won the 'Mrs Sri Lanka, for the Mrs Universe 2016' title at the official event held on 17 August 2016 at Ramada Hotel, Colombo. Udari would represent Sri Lanka at the pageant held in China in August 23, 2016.

Acting Career

Udari started her acting career in "Sinindu Piyapath", playing a minor role. Later, she moved to cinema by the invitation of Raja Sadesh Kumar. Her film debut was in the 2015 film, Pravegaya. .
