US Airways fleet

US Airways operated a predominantly Airbus fleet, with some older Boeing aircraft and a small fleet of Embraer jets.

Final fleet

On April 8, 2015, when a Single Operating Certificate was awarded by the Federal Aviation Administration, all airframes in the US Airways fleet were transferred to American Airlines.[1] As of that date, the US Airways fleet consisted of the following aircraft:[2][3][4]

40 Fokker 100 aircraft purchased new from the European manufacturer.
McDonnell Douglas DC-9-30 2001 Airbus A320 family Former Allegheny Airlines aircraft as well as several from Pacific Southwest Airlines (PSA).
McDonnell Douglas MD-80 2002 Airbus A320 family Aircraft were obtained via the merger with Pacific Southwest Airlines (PSA).[6]
