Tuff Jam is a British DJ, music production and remixing duo consisting of Karl 'Tuff Enuff' Brown and Matt 'Jam' Lamont. They began working together after meeting in 1993 at the London Club, The Arches, where Lamont had a DJ residency[1] and were instrumental in developing the UK garage sound.[2] They presented a radio show on London's Kiss FM from 1997 until 2000.

They produced a number of their own tracks, a series of mix CDs including Underground Frequencies Vol. 1 and 2, and also remixes for artists such as En Vogue, Usher, Jody Watley, Coolio, Boyz II Men, Rosie Gaines, Brand New Heavies, Mark Morrison, among others.[3]

Lamont continues to DJ UK garage and appeared in the Boiler Room project in 2012.[4]

Brown was previously in the band Double Trouble and has enjoyed a number of popular releases including "Street Tuff" which went to number 3 on the UK Singles Chart.
