Trip Tik

Trip Tik is a travel planning guide provided by AAA.[1][2] It provides travelers with destination directions, points of interest, and services which are customised for the user.[3] The Trip Tik facility was first made available to AAA members in 2000.[4] It came in printed booklet version but is now available in desktop and mobile versions.[1][5][6] The map is free for AAA members.[5] A Trip Tik mobile app is available for iOS.[7][6] The digital version provides all traveler requirements in one page including navigation.[1]

Map features

  • It has a scrolling list of point of interest list which has AAA approved hotels, restaurants, attractions, etc.[6]
  • There are filters which have options to highlight hotels, attractions, restaurants, gas stations, construction, detour routes, etc.[1][8][4]
  • Websites for rentals booking etc. will be redirected from inside the map.[1] In certain cases descriptions and reviews are made available on the same page.[1]
  • Provides the cost of gas at different gas stations.[1]
  • Also provides other facilities such as weather, traffic, etc. in the same map.[1]
