Trinity Records was a Hong Kong–based record label, founded and operated by a man called Sunny. It featured Heavy metal bands from Asia and the rest of the world in its catalogue.

Background

The roots of the label go back to a "small mailorder" in Hong Kong, founded in December 1999, which turned into a record store. A few years later a corresponding record label, Trinity Records Hong Kong, was founded. The first signings were Deathguy from Thailand and Sword of Darkness with roots in Vietnam/USA. Later on, the label signed the first bands from Europe (Swedish Carnal Grief and Spanish Cryfemal) and South America (Requiem aeternam from Uruguay in 2005). Also, the label signed license deals with European record companies i.e. Firebox Records (Swallow the Sun) or Century Media Records (Bloodbath).[2] As a result, Alltheniko, Bloodbath, and Dissection amongst others saw their records released in Asia.

The company stopped its work without further notice on the website in the beginning of 2010. Releases are listed on Discogs between 2002 and 2010.
