Colonel Sir Trevor Thomas is the Chief of Defence for Antigua & Barbuda, overseeing command of the Royal Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force (RABDF).[1]
Thomas, as a Lieutenant, led the 14-man RABDF team sent to participate in the United States' Invasion of Grenada in 1983.[2]
In 1991, as a Major, he penned the article "Roles, Capabilities and Limitations of the Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force".[2]
He was knighted in 2015, the first Chief of Defence to be thus honoured, and stated that he was "not going to let it get to my head. I have work to do...to upgrade our force".[3]
