Vice Admiral Anthony David Radakin, CB (born 10 November 1965) is a Royal Navy officer who serves as Second Sea Lord and Deputy Chief of the Naval Staff since 27 March 2018. Prior to this appointment, he was Chief of Staff, Joint Forces Command.

Educated at the University of Southampton (LLB, 1989) and King's College London (MA, 2000),[1] Radakin gained his commission in the Royal Navy in 1990.[2] He went on to become commanding officer of the frigate HMS Norfolk in 2003, commanding officer of the US/UK Iraqi Naval Transition Team in 2006 and commanding officer of the US/UK Combined Task Force Iraqi Maritime in 2010,[2] before becoming commander of HMNB Portsmouth in October 2011.[3] He was appointed Director of Force Development at the Ministry of Defence in November 2012,[4] Commander United Kingdom Maritime Forces in December 2014[2] and Chief of Staff, UK Joint Forces Command in March 2016.[5][4] He became Second Sea Lord and Deputy Chief of the Naval Staff in March 2018,[6] and was appointed a Companion of the Order of the Bath in the Birthday Honours three months later.[7]
