Tom Vandenkendelaere (born 2 September 1984 in Roeselare) is a Belgian Member of the European Parliament (MEP)[1] since November 2014 for the Christian Democratic and Flemish party (CD&V), which sits in the EPP Group. He succeeded Marianne Thyssen, who became European Commissioner.
Vandenkendelaere is member of the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs (ECON), the "Panama Papers" Inquiry Committee (PANA) and the delegation for relations with the People's Republic of China.
Vandenkendelaere was chairman of the CD&V youth wing from 2013 to 2014.
