Tom Lucy (comedian)

Tom Lucy is a British stand-up comedian.

Born in London in 1996, Tom attended Cranleigh School, Hurtwood House[1], and Bristol University, reading a BA in Film and Theatre before dropping-out to perform comedy full-time. [2]

Aged 17 Tom won the Comedy Store King Gong. At 19 he was crowned Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year.[3] At 20 he was the youngest ever comedian to perform an arena - over 15,000 people at the First Direct Arena in Leeds - supporting Jack Whitehall's national tour.

In 2017, Tom completed a sell-out solo show at the Edinburgh Fringe 'Tom Lucy: Needs to Stop Showing Off in Front of His Friends'. He also made his TV debut on Chris Ramsey's Stand Up Central show debut [4]

In 2018, Tom took his acclaimed 2017 Edinburgh show to The Soho Theatre before launching his second solo show to the Edinburgh Fringe 'Tom Lucy: Reluctant Millennial'. He also produced a 12-part Podcast 'Tom plus One' featuring well-known actors, musicians and comedians, and has continued to build his media presence including TV appearances on Live at The Comedy Store.

Tom is signed to the talent agency Off the Kerb productions[5] and his style of comedy is observational - centred around typical events surrounding young adult males.[6][7]

Tom now supports established comedians including Jack Whitehall, Michael McIntyre, Kevin Bridges, Seann Walsh, Shappi Khorsandi, Rob Beckett, Harry Hill and John Bishop. He also performs regularly at comedy clubs across the UK (and Europe/US) including the Glee Club, Up the Creek, Komedia, Top Secret, and The Comedy Store.

Tom lives in London and is a strong supporter of a number of children's charities. In 2017 he was made a Young Ambassador for Barnardos.
