Thomas Hughes (1892 – 23 May 1915) was an English professional football inside left who played in the Football League for Newcastle United.[1][4]

Personal life

Hughes served as a corporal in the Royal Northumberland Fusiliers during the First World War and was killed in West Flanders on 23 May 1915.[3] He is commemorated on the Menin Gate.[3]
