The Toba betta (Betta rubra) is a species of gourami endemic to Indonesia where it is an inhabitant of peat swamps. This species grows to a length of 5 centimetres (2.0 in) TL. This species is also found in the aquarium trade.[1]
Parental care
Unlike Betta.S which is a bubble nest builder, betta ruba is a Mouthbrooding fish.[2]
