Timothy 'Tim' Neese is currently the mayor of Elkhart, Indiana, having defeated Mayor Dick Moore in 2015.[4] Neese is a former Republican member of the Elkhart Common Council representing the 2nd District. He is also a former member of the Indiana House of Representatives, representing the 48th district from 2002 until his retirement from the chamber in 2014. Neese is also the Director of the Solid Waste Management District of Elkhart County. Mayor Neese resides in Elkhart with his wife, Paula. They have two sons and a daughter.
